This page belongs to the groups we have reached out to, worked alongside, and supplied lavender to in support of their own ventures. Each collaboration is gathered here in its own space, with photographs and reflections kept together so it is always clear which moment they belong to.

2 July 2026 · Solidarity Exchange

Albion Life Community Gardens, Brighton

On 2 July 2026 Sussex Lavender was invited to a Solidarity Exchange hosted by Albion Life Community Gardens in Brighton, alongside a visiting delegation of Indigenous leaders.

Communities the world over are reclaiming their agency, driving locally relevant alternatives, and putting their time and energy into projects that are by the people, for the people. This exchange was a space to get inspired by one another - to hear what other communities are doing to protect their wellbeing and a flourishing environment, and to build a brighter, more abundant future together.

Late June 2026 · Community Lunch Club

Meads Lunch Club for the Elderly

In late June 2026, Dagmar collected a tray of freshly cut lavender to share with the elderly at the monthly Meads Lunch Club she volunteers with.

The room lit up. As the lavender bouquets were given out, one lady said it best: "It feels like we haven't been forgotten." Volunteers watched conversations turn to reminiscing and shared stories, all sparked by the scent of freshly cut lavender in their hands. There was such joy among the volunteers too, in the simple act of making up the fresh lavender bunches together before they were given out.

2025 · Cancer Support & Wellbeing

Wilder Nature CIC

When our lavender arrived at Wilder Nature's Thursday evening woodland group, we weren't prepared for quite how much it would spark.

Wilder Nature is a McMillan-funded CIC that brings people facing cancer into the woods to be supported through their journey with trained facilitators. In one session the group found so many things to do with the lavender - footbaths, wands, crafting, simply holding it - that they fed back just how beautiful it had been. Their enthusiasm and gratitude said everything about what lavender can carry into a space that really needs it. wilderlifewellbeing.com →
